Data protection officer
We have not appointed a data protection officer. Under Art. 37 GDPR and § 38 BDSG we are not required to: we do not permanently employ twenty or more people in the automated processing of personal data, and our core activity consists neither of extensive regular monitoring nor of processing special categories of data.

What this website does not do
These statements describe the version actually delivered and can be verified:
- No cookies. No cookie is set, neither strictly necessary nor otherwise. There is therefore no consent banner.
- No analytics, no tracking. No JavaScript runs in the browser, so there is no reach measurement, no heatmaps, no conversion tracking.
- No third parties. Loading a page requests files from hyperion-edge.de only. No connection to third-party servers is established.
- No fonts from external networks. The typefaces used are stored on our own server. There is no request to Google Fonts or a comparable service that would transmit your IP address.
- No embedded maps, videos or social media elements.
- No contact form. The contact page points to an email address; nothing is submitted through the website.
- No registration, no login, no user account.
Server log files
When you access this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which our web server records in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and path of the file requested
- volume of data transferred and status of the request
- browser type and operating system
- previously visited page, where your browser transmits it
Purpose: delivering the website, detecting and repelling attacks, investigating technical faults.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and fault-free operation of the website.
Retention: 14 days, after which the log files are deleted automatically. These data are not merged with other sources and are not analysed on a personal basis.
Hosting
This website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, in Germany. Hetzner processes the data named above solely on our behalf and on our instructions; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. No transfer to third countries takes place in this context.
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message serves the initiation or performance of a contract; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Retention: we keep your message for as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry or any business relationship arising from it. Where the matter is subject to commercial or tax retention obligations, we delete it once those periods expire.
Processor: our mailbox is operated through Microsoft 365. The contracting party is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin, Ireland. Processing in third countries, in particular in the United States, cannot be excluded. It is safeguarded by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and by Microsoft’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access to whether and which data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

Right to object
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will then no longer process those data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
